BoxingScene.com has been advised that super featherweight contender Mickey Bey (18-0-1) will face Robert Rodriguez (7-2) on February 2nd at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Frankie Gomez (14-0) will face Lanard Lane (13-2) in the main event, and 2012 Olympian Jo Jo Diaz against an opponent to be determined will round out the televised portion of the card. The fights will be be broadcast by Fox Sports and Fox Deportes networks.

A fight like this shows why I have more respect for Rodriguez. He is 7-2 and willing to face an 18-0 fighter who is above his level, yet the 18-0 fighter is only willing to fight someone with 7 wins and below his level. This is a damn joke. Team Bay does not have any confidence.
