What's the point of a Marquez-Pacquiao 5?

Exactly!! Even Pac-boy himself was disappointed and said he wasn't going to support the fight as soon as Marquez-Pac 4 was announced. Marquez is clearly the better skill and smarter fighter. Pac's only advantage was his speed,size,age, and power. If Pac can't beat Marquez while having all those physical advantages, it shows Pac is not the better skilled fighter Marquez is. Marquez owns Pac. Roach knows this and the rest of the fans know this. Lets please move on already.

You really need help with this question? Because 4 was the best of the series, 3 the worst. It also had a stunning ending, and 5 should be huge no problem. Not that 4 did poorly, it did very well.

Fight is pointless. Pacfan's are the only ones wanting to see this fight due to ego. Its like Cotto fans only ones wanting to see Cotto rematch Pac or Floyd. Its just the sour g****rs asking for Marquez-Pac 5 because they can't handle their idol getting put to sleep. Everyone knows Marquez is the better fighter. Dude proved it in 4 fights already and even knocked his a$$ out cold. What other way can Marquez beat Pac other then out boxing him and knocking his a$$ out. Lets move on.

i got to agree...Not that the fight is pointless to all...but to some. And ego has a lot to do with it. i didnt want to see he 4th fight. At all. But now as a Pac Fan...i want the 5th fight. If the roles were reversed and Pac Kod JMM in the 4th fight, id have to be real and say i wouldnt want to see the 5th fight.

I'll watch any fight, so I'm neutral on a fifth fight. I thought the whole point of the 4th fight was to settle things once and for all? JMM won by KO in 6 rounds. That settles thing once and for all doesn't it? If Pacquiao had won by KO nobody would be clamoring for a 5th fight because the 4th fight was meant to settle things once and for all...

because better boxers have been ktfo and won the rematch which i expect pac will do

but I agree with you on one aspect, marquez should avoid the rematch, he has the same change as when he did win, little because he is relying on one big shot to win it, most of the time, they don't come off.... they can do once in a while but you know, to me he was on the verge of being stopped against pac until he landed it, he won, end of story.

he should go home with it and have a farewell fight, he will most likely lose the 5th fight, it will play out how the 4th should have without the braindead pacman moment he thinks he can win easily by beating him up...

JMM shouldn't avoid it, he'll make 2-3 times his career best purse.

Sorry, but this doesn't make sense. Pacquiao won two of the fights and earned a draw regardless of what your opinion of the series is. Marquez stops Pacquiao in the 4th fight that many had Marquez losing. How is the series over?

One moment you say pacquiao challenges himself and then you say he sould fight marquez again because he will win and should have won the fourth fight. Huh?
And if we are going to be honest pacquaio hasn't had a tough opponent since cotto. Which he beat handily, but tries to rematch everyother fight. Where's the challenges at?
