Have any big PPV stars ever been hurt by a loss?

I mean, I can't think of any who's buy rate had actually gone down after a loss. The likes of Evander and RJJ don't really count since there's went down because people got sick of them hanging around so much.

It affects whether they want it or not.. it could be big or small but certainly noticeable.. if you think pacquiao losing to bradley didn't hurt pac-may then you are wrong, off topic but could be a basis.

I wouldn't call Pavlik a "star" but he was a big name and dropped off pretty fast. A lot of pre-PPV guys can go away pretty quick after a loss (Lacy, Lopez, Jones, etc). To be a star though, you've already been winning for a while and people will still hang around for a few losses, expecting the old form to come back.
