Funny how anyone else did this, the bail would probably be over 10 grand. This dude only gets 1000? If only everyone was that lucky... That's the cost of possibly taking another human's life or more? SMH

I don't think there was any special treatment here. My roommate got a DUI last year and his bail was $1,000 personal recognizance so I didn't have to pay anything to bail him out. Keep in mind Adamek is really only famous to boxing fans, I doubt the cops would even recognize him, so they're not giving him any special treatment.

A typical DUI case will take 2-3 months, maybe longer, to filter through the justice system.

Until he is actually convicted his ability to travel abroad won't be impacted.

If he has a good lawyer, and I am sure he does, the court proceedings will be delayed long enough to let him fight.
