It also don't take much for Racist Fans to hate Certain Fighters, they are sitting at the edge of their seats waiting to jump up and say "SEE THAT IS WHY I DON'T LIKE THEM!"Comment

There are plenty of people who watch with a racial or nationalistic perspective. I've seen it first hand at a lot of live events from all sides, I
started to write a post with my experiences of all of them but it got too long lol.
I'll just say that as much as racism does exist in boxing, watching it growing up it definitely was the sport that exposed me to more of the world than any other and has taught me more about other peoples, through the fighters. There isn't a fighter of any race or from any country, speaking any language who hasn't put it all on the line in the boxing ring. Watching they represent their countries, or their race, or ethnicity, or their families I realize we all pretty much just want the same things and I'm thankful people from all over the world still take part in it.Comment

You are crazy if you believe America isnt racist. It is and probally always will be. Im black and boy let me tell you its in boxing and any other sport you choose.
Notre Dame is a racist establishment in its self. So its not a shocker that they would pump up this guy as a great white hope. I aint tryna be salty but I wont act like I dont know where and what I live in. The biggest trick racists ever played was covincing people that racism doesnt exist. Thats the real problem in the US.
The Klitschko's just don't get talked about much in the US...Ali was HATED and was talked about in a negative way in the media ALL THE TIME...that is a huge difference
And in that Video and even watch the Jack Johnson Documentary on Netflix it is shocking how a lot of things that happened then are happening now in boxing, so boxing fans have inherit a way of think about certain because of the Sports Writers and HBO Broadcasters kept that way of thinking aliveLast edited by KnockUTheFukOut; 01-13-2013, 08:13 PM.Comment

Apparently you are Hispanic. Its a shame you cant even see what America is trying to do to your own people. I doesnt stop at boxing. If it shapes everyday life then what in the *** do you think America cares about boxing that would exclude it? Wake up. Floyd aint the first to deal with it and wont be the last. Floyd is highly marketable. So explain why he doesnt have Sprite, Nike, and Subway knocking his door down? Dont give me your moral code BS because I can give you a sh$t load of straight jack$sses and mediocre athletes who have been marketed regularly past and present.Comment
