yes...in fact marquez and pac were shooting giant machine guns at the shooting range in mexico city while hoards of fans waited, pacquiao is appreciated over there for his style and heart. obviously their heart is with marquez though.

Pacquiao is very famous in Mexico. When Marquez beat Pacquiao it was a huge victory for Mexico, so big that the President asked to meet Marquez and considered his victory a boost to the Mexican people lol.
