Throw that combo in the mix, and you got a offensive machine.

It isn't a bench pressing contest.

I could probably bench press more then Hearns. By a good margin.

And he would probably turn my face into a inside out Pumpkin with one right hand.
    Mmmm, no you couldn't.

He was asked how he sees a canelo vs floyd fight going.

He said Canelo was physically stronger but floyd had more experience and is better at slipping away ect.

He DID NOT say their power was equal, the quote was

"Where as Saul has, a lot of, maybe physical strength, I wouldnt say more hitting power, I think they hit ABOUT the same"

All shane said was there wasnt a huge difference in their punching power which is believable. He didnt say they hit exactly the same FFS people just that its in the same ball park.

Most of the guys Saul KOed were smaller guys so we dont have a really good reference, he looks good but against ****ty opponents. He more than likely does hit harder than mayweather but its subjective and with mayweather having better accuracy that brings the subjective description of their power in the ring to be around the same level from someone who fought them both.

Clearly not as much as "fans". It's just funny watching people who've never been in a ring with a professional fighter argue with Mosley here. You can't even make this up.

            Yeah, bro.

I'm going to track down The Hitman, and see who can throw up the most reps at 225 lbs, just so I can win when some penis measuring contest with some guy over the internet.

My post was more hyperbolic the anything, that weight lifting prowess doesn't always equate to punching power.

I believe it. I'm still trying to figure out how you judge the punching power of a jr middleweight who doesn't fight jr middleweights. How do you gauge his power if all he's doing is fighting 140lbers & 147lbers. Crazy stuff.

Because I've seen forest catch Mosley with one of the most brutal uppercuts I had ever seen up to that point and Mosley didn't not know where he was at he was visibly shaken IIRC he didn't even know where his corner was .... Compare that to the PAC fight I can't remember him getting hit with any one punch in particular ... The kd looked kinda suspect too

As a matter of fact I can remember reading two conflicting quotes from Mosley after the pacquiao fight "no one ever hit me as hard as PAC" ... Couple monthly later "Floyd and PAC punch equally hard" ... And now "Floyd and Canelo punch about the same". Idk just sayin its kinda like when you get a tattoo in a painful spot, at the moment it hurts like hell but after a couple months or even years when you think back on it it doesn't seem that bad.

If we go by what Shane said, then Canelo's punching power is greatly exaggerated.

Floyd was already in his fourth weight class when he fought Shane. Canelo, who is supposed to be known for power, is only in his second or third weight class yet hits as hard as Floyd. Floyd isn't even known for power
