Your picks for the first quarter?

Apologies if this has already been done, haven't seen it, but what picks are you going with for the first quarter of 2006?

I've got a bad memory, so I might have missed out a couple, but this is what I remember as the most prominent fights January-March:

    1. Castillo-Coralles III. ("I spit out my gumshield, Amigo!" "Si, and I come in fat on purpose for advantage, Amigo!"). I pick Castillo again. He nearly won the first, won the second... is there any reason to suspect that Coralles's chin hasn't reached its sell-by date?

    2. Toney-Rahman. Not only do I predict Toney will win this one, but I also predict it will be one of his very few actual KOs at heavyweight.

    3. Lacy-Calzaghe. I go with Calzone for the simple reason that if Lacy wins I couldn't bear to read 50,000 "I told you Lacy would pwn that Brit ***, LMAO!" threads. Joe Blow, you gotta show...

    4. Williams-Ske... we don't wanna do that one, do we? My pick is pretty obvious...

    5. Jones Jr. vs. Hopkins - a horrible feeling that the far-from-shot Hopkins will take advantage here. And after laying out Roy for the third time in his career he'll pull a ****y grin and say he's the reincarnation of Sugar Ray.

    6. Judah vs. Mayweather - I pick Mayweather, if only because Judah is extraordinarily overrated (what, he beat Corey Spinx the SECOND time of asking and that's p4p top twelve???) and so that Floyd can face off against his proper opponents - Hatton, Cotto - instead of ducking them. Don't be another Roy, Floy.

    7. Mormeck vs. Bell - Never seen either, curse me for my current Cruiserweight ignorance, but I'm just guessing here.

    8. Pacquaio vs. Morales - who's got more to prove? I think Pacquaio might pull this one out, even though logic says Morales a second time.

Castillo why not ...Toney all the way unless rahman lands a big shot ..Lacy is going to beat the breaks off him ...Jones Jr. will win one way or another ...Mayweather same thing he will find a way ...Mormeck i was a little impressed with the guy in his last fight

i almost agree, castillio will take it again, toney has too much skill for a plodder almost hit and miss rahman, lacy (i hope) will be too strong for calzaghe, williams is **** full stop and a disgrace,
hopkins will old man a decision over a shot jones, PBF will school chicken licken, and mormeck should have too much for bell (end),
also mosley vargas im throwing in, i pick mosley to eek out a decision over a slow shot vargas, altho mosley himself has slowed and is shot he has slightly more left

he can if he lands and doesnt tire badly like he has done but i think hes looked quite bad for the last few years, i just dont think hes got it anymore and mos has stiffened up but i think with his edge in speed will be the difference, it'l allow him to get the shots in when he needs
