I read they have till Feb. 5th to get the contracts signed then they have 90 days after that to put the fight on.

I had Lara winning the first fight. Golden Boy is going to stage this fight in Florida where they got that deal with some arena over there.

This could be nicer if they co-promote, but at least we are seeing fighters from Top Rank vs Golden Boy..it was about GB stepped it up for Lara. I would like to see Lara vs Canelo just to see how Canelo does against that style.

This is the kind ofmfight that boggles my mind about boxing.

No fan wants to see this fight. Most fans don't care to see either lara or vanes. Yet here we are, about to get the rematch, that no one asked for. I hope to god no networks pick this garbage up.

Only in boxing are we constantly forced with nonsense like this. This will undoubtably end up on some undercard on hbo or SHO. When a non fan watches it, they'll turn it off. Even me as a hardcore fan, I want nothing to do with this crap.

What the hell are you rambling about? Speak for yourself. As ****ty as the first fight was, I still want to watch the rematch. I expect to see a better fight this time around, IMO.

But regardless....these are two top fighters in their division and the winner of this actually becomes a mandatory to a division titlist. That right there draws interest by itself. No ones forcing you or anyone else to watch anything ...

And who cares what "people ask for." If that was the case, you'd see the same 5 fighters recycling the same 5 opponents. The deserving fighters deserve their opportunities, and both of these guys are deserving (with a win) to be Canelos mandatory.....

Hope Lara doesn't leave his balls at home and comes to fight. All that running and dirty tactics were a disgrace, at least Vanes came ready to go to war and give the fans what they wanted, without the dirty tactics.

Vanes' footwork is a lot better than what he showed in their first fight. If Vanes can move his feet better, cut the ring off rather than chase him, more head movement and let his hands GO, I see him comfortably beating the overrated Lara. Now that he felt Lara's power and wasn't too impressed, I see him more relaxed and aggressive with his punches.
