Depends. Do you consider Ali to have a glass chin because he was knocked down like 5 times??? Of course not.

No, context is everything. Being off balance and caught with a great shot doesn't mean you were made in China.

5 KDS does not= Glass Chin for a heavyweight

        13-20 KDS for a heavyweight= Glass Chin

5 KD'S with ZERO Ko's= Very Good but not GREAT Chin.

There is a chin chart I can print out if you like.

This guy got no chin. None.

Now Chin Huggers will probably moan and ***** about how the KD'S don't matter and how Mollo was a TOUGH PUNCHER and how Arthur didn't get knocked OUT.

But tonight's fight once again prove my chin logic right.

KD'S SHOULD COUNT towards your chin ratings.

Ehh BIG NOOOOOOO it doesn't count, most definitely not because the determining factor is obviously how hurt the fighter is, if he gets up like nothing not a stumble not running and skull fks the other guy he obviously wasn't hurt and going down could have had 0 to do with the chin a lot of guys get hit out of position and is their feet that take them down for being too aggressive, getting surprised being cocky or sometimes just not knowing wtf they're doing.

Your feet can take you down just as easy as your chin that's why balance and stance is so important.

Marquez and Trinidad do not .weak chins. They do have elite recovering power. Both knocked down mostly from clean shots caught off balance. Bernards left hooks on Trinidad was lucky one punch/caught even though he was schooling him Trinidad was never in trouble of being stopped until that punch.

The question once again is not if Tito and Marquez got weak chins.

The question is should KD'S count towards their chin ratings.

                  Example:

Marquez have NEVER been knocked out

Carl Froch have NEVER been knocked out

Marvin Hagler have NEVER been knocked out.

So technically they all have the same chin?

                  Wrong.

                  Hagler>Froch>Marquez

how do we judge this? Why by knock downs.
                  Hagler suffered the least..

                  it's simple math

Vitali was knocked out cold once.. and knocked down once.

Lennox Lewis was knocked out once and knocked down once.

Lennox Lewis technically have a better chin than Vitali.

Lewis was never out COLD like Vitali was.. and his kd against Mccall is similar to Vitali's KD against Sanders. The difference is that Don King robbed Lewis.
