Berto lacks defense.... in a MAJOR MAJOR way, and more importantly, he's not the kind of fighter who is durable enough to lack defense.

Guys like Margarito, Rios, P Will lack defense as well, but they can take it... Berto swells, cuts, and drops easily. So unless he changes his defensive tendencies, he will get worse and worse.

He does what we call in the gym as POSES. He throws a combination and then doesn't finish with movement or defense. I was amazed at how stiff he looked and how easy he was to hit against Karass.

I know that his shoulder was hurt but his feet are just getting worse. His chin is also getting worse I think, he gets dazed really easy now. I personally think he's damaged goods. I like Berto's hearth though, he's a tough dude.
