Bute is not a good example for several reasons:

    1. He was a major local draw, probably top 5 in North America. That's why he never had to leave home, they just brought in not so risky opponents.
    2. He always had the deer in the headlights look when caught, always a bit fragile. GG hasnt fought anyone that can test his chin, but doesn't have that look or amateur rep.
    3. Bute was meant to be slick and pretty fast, GG not so much. Actually Bute used to volume punch till about Andrade 2, when he bought into his this powerpuncher image.
    4. Bute had a tougher road to the title, beat Bika in an elim, and defended vs a number of top 10 and fringe contender guys. So far GG's comp is worse.

If Golovkin doesn't want to damage his reputation, he better stop Rosado. If he doesn't, the hate is gonna get heavy in here.

You already know. "Angulo knocked him out in 2 rounds and it took GGG 10"

                  LOL

In other words, he hadn't beat the top guys because none of them want to fight him.
N'dam ducked him for roughly 2 years just like Sturm, pulled out of 4 attempted unifications and finally gave up his WBA Interm belt rather than face him. Geale also knew before the Sturm fight the winner would have to face Golovkin right away but he shamelessly tried to pretend the WBA was screwing him, attempting to gain public support for his Aussie mega fight Lulz.

Golovkin unified the WBA middleweight title by having 3 opponents duck him.

im very skeptical about the Golovkin hype bc some people are talking about him like the next Chavez Sr. or Hagler which is just completely ridiculous. i will make my assessment of Golovkin after he fights martinez/chavez
