We'll see how his two consecutive loses to Taylor factor in.

However, the same could be said about Roy's three consecutive loses, two by the KTFO factor.

It'll be an interesting fight. I won't buy it on PPV though, most likely wait a week or two after when they show it on HBO for free. Heh.

Hopkins-Jones rematch may be unecessary, but both warriors need this fight in my opinion. Coming off consecutive losses, they still harbor pride and yearn for redemption. Making this fight happen will provide Jones Jr. (or Hopkins) the closure they need, that determines wether they should still be duking it out or not. Hopkins is an ageless fighter, Taylor could barely handle him in both fights. If Taylor won both fights it's only because he's the younger fighter coming up, and again his victory's weren't by impressive fasion against a 41 year old. Regardless of what cynics may think of Roy Jones Jr. I believe he still has fight in him and maybe a bone he needs to pick. Either way, the way I see it, this fight will be interesting. This will be testament for who wants glory the most.

nard will land his famous right hand on roy, and we all know it's a serious punch. however, I think Roy can take that shot, plus Roy won't **** his legacy up by losing to an old man..i favor roy in this fight, mainly because I know he'll train to no extent, like a titan, and when ur in that kinda shape, doesnt matter what type of shot u get hit with your body will instinctually survive unless you get stuck like roy did vs tarver.

getting caught with a hook coming forward, producing all that big leverage (to land that big shot) all turns against you when you get stuck with a hook coming in. jolts the human brain like no other punch in boxing, people say roy had a glass chin but..Castillo must have a glass chin too since a lesser puncher did the same to him (we all know castillos chin is made of uranium)

edit: expect a boring ****ing fight if roy takes a big shot early

I knew about it a few moments after it was announced(Someone on a site immediately told it) Its gonna be a great fight.

Roy will still become the legend he wanted to be. His record is 49 wins. ONE MORE WIN AGAINST A HALL OF FAMER and he's a legend with a perfect 50 wins. People might forget his ko losses then.
