HIV rumours quashed as Poonsawat is forced to retire

That's a very inaccurate report. He had that blood disorder BEFORE he tested positive THREE TIMES for HIV in Texas.

So why was it posted?

So this is the disorder he had before then he got HIV from blood transfusions?

Yeah, figured this might be the case.

I remembered that they already mentioned and blamed thalassemia when he failed the test, so this new "revelation" wouldn't have been new at all.

Sad to see he has to retire, guy was a out and out warrior.. Don't think I'll ever forget the beating he put on Bernard Dunne! If it's true that its only thalassemia and not HIV then thank god. Ad hopefully he eventually fully cures it

That's very good it isn't HIV. I saw some news sites that stated it was as if it were fact, I didn't realize it was a rumor. I need to look more closely at where I get news I guess
