    Good clip and analysis Bozo.

Do you have the fight? Im guessing you do since you made the clip, but would you upload it for some points or something?

Kostya absolutely blasts Hurtado against the ropes at the 2:15 mark and puts him down (after Hurtado already lands a really good right hand before it).

Then, right after that at the 1:57 mark Hurtado lands a great right hand that catches Tszyu coming in. Tszyu falls forward keeping himself on his knees with his gloves for a legitimate KD. At the 1:25 mark or so, Tszyu and Hurtado elect to trade and both guys give out some good shots but Hurtado drops Tszyu again, making Tszyu fall forward on his gloves once again.

It was a great first round. Hurtado gave a similar performance against whitaker.

I wasn't suggesting it wasn't a KD, I just seemed to remeber it as not being too damaging of a shot.

I'll definatly check it out again though.

Judah has Nady to blame for stopping the fight early. Bozo, I like the gif.
I wish you'd make a gif showing Nady not even hardly check Judah before stopping the fight too quickly. Zab was up and ready to go again by the count of 6. Yes he popped up too quickly, I agree, and fell. But he was up again. People say he fell twice by one punch. No, he fell once by one punch and fell the 2nd time from getting up too fast. But so what? He may have fallen twice, but he got up twice too. And was on his feet ready to fight. It wasn't a Tyson-Berbeck moment.

And it is funny that Tszyu fans never wanted Tszyu to give Judah a rematch, just like Tszyu. If the tables were turned and Nady had stopped the fight too early on Tszyu, I'd be the first one saying I wanted a rematch because I would want Judah to have a real, unquestionable win. But Tszyu fans don't have that confidence in their fighter b/c they KNOW Zab is the better fighter.

The ONLY time they ever claim they want Tszyu to give Judah a rematch is when I point out that they don't want the rematch. Watch, I guarantee some Tszyu fan comes on saying "Oh yeah, well I do wish Tszyu would give Judah a rematch so he could knock him out again, so ha." or something ******. Those fans know they don't really want that rematch.

Of course now they have their age excuse built in. Which they would've tried using back then too. So whatever.

You're right, Kostya bounces up from both shots he goes down from almost instantly.

Hurtado landed two good shots but he lacked the big power to seriously hurt Tszyu. That was actually a really good fight.

Nadey said he looked at Judah when he first bounded up, and that his eyes were hazed over. He said he's trained to identify a concussion, and made a judgement call.

I think Judah could have continued, but he made the mistake of getting up without legs and falling again.

Becuase of this, I have no problem with the call Nadey made, and in retrosepct, neither did Judah.

I read a Nadey interview where he called Judah a nice young man saying he went out of his way (a few months after this fight) to come up to him at a convention and apologize in person, saying he understood why it was stopped.

i agree with nady's stoppage... mostly.

if zab's equilibrium was so bad that his eyes were glazed over and he had to do a chicken dance, there is no way that zab's brain wouldve recovered in time to continue the fight without serious or permanent injury. and keep in mind, tszyu's a hard as hell puncher. zab's messed up brain + kostya tszyu's power = serious injury.

dare i say nady probly saved judah's life.

and bozo, if what you say about zab apoligizing is true, which is probly is cuz zabs that kinda guy, i have gained a lot more respect for zab.

The bottom line is that regardless of wheather Judah could or couldn't have continued (and I think he could have if he'd have taken a knee until the 8 count)

he gave the impression he wasn't okay by jumping up with no legs under him.

The ref is traiend to look for trouble signs in an injured fighter, and Judah gave him every reason to take those precautions.

This is a moot point, because Judah has admitted Nadey made the right call in retrospect.

most referees work under that rule. I think it was the right stoppage, just a bad move by Judah acting like a little idiot.
