When you hear the word "shot"...

Which fighter comes to your mind first?

For some reason it was Edison Miranda for me

          Roy Jones obviously.

The word is so overused it's not even funny. Anyone who loses a fight or is a bit past prime people call shot. Big difference between past prime and shot.

Like people calling Cotto shot after he fought Margarito (but suddenly was prime again when he fought floyd!).

Jose Luis Castillo was the first fighter who came to mind.

As it turns out, he has won his last two fights and is fighting next month: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...8837&cat=boxer

            Still shot tho...

              Roy.

Not many people fight for almost a decade as a shot fighter.

I wonder what the best "post-shot" wins were in history

Roy Jones has to be top of the list for obvious reasons

                  Also,

Shane Mosley - He just survives in most of his fights now. Hasn't much pop left in his punches and fights scared judging from recent outings. Can't pull the trigger anymore.
James Toney - Not that far from getting to Roy Jones stage. Has practically nothing left really.
Evander Holyfield - Well, he's almost an OAP. I think he really announced he's retired now but I'm not sure.
