I agree with you on Canelo, but the 2 guys are at least 15lbs apart fight night. If Canelo signed Guerrero for his next fight it'd be a cherry pick, right?

If bumhyped fought the Ghost at 150 right now, I'd bet my damn account that the Ghost beats him on the cherrypick.

They are about 15lb's apart on fightnight, but Floyd returns to 147 to fight the Ghost. It's not like he is fighting him at 154.

If Guerrero Canelo was signed for 150, Canelo would show up at 153.5 and brutalize Guerrero. The Matt Hatton fight was signed for 150, Canelo came in 151.5, didn't really murder Hatton but he has gotten bigger and better.

Agree that h2h doesn't necessarily make him tougher for Floyd than Guerrero, I just think Floyd would have to respect his power a lot. And he should be able to take Floyd's head punches well so should be able to unload to the body. Imagine Floyd on the ropes like against Cotto.

Bumhype doesn't have the intelligence to put Floyd anywhere where he doesn't want to be,period.

Mayweather was on the ropes against Cotto because Cotto used his jab and put him there. Alvarez would sit in the middle of the ring getting smacked around.

Floyd never looked comfortable at 154 even though he dominated both his fights he didn't look like he does at WW

and I think Canelo will be the best opponent Floyd ever fought at 154

Ortiz is not exactly mister jab nor ring smart, and he had Floyd on the ropes in the first couple of rounds.

That's because he was bulling forward ineffectively. Alvarez doesn't do that either.
