Based on the fact that Canelo is a large, strong, explosive light-middleweight with a penchant for crushing body punches and an ability to string together fast combinations.

Guerrero is a much smaller man, and although he is more versatile and competent a boxer by my reckoning, Floyd will deal with him much more easily than he would Alvarez, IMO.

How would Mayweather deal with Alvarez in the clinches? Certainly not the same way he'd deal with a former super-featherweight.

canelo is so overrated that for to even be considered for this fight is a disgrace. look at his record and tell me who on there is a marquee name on there in his prime that canelo beat. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...8759&cat=boxer

The Ghost is a better fighter in every way than ginger is. The only thing that's left on the table is who has more power. That's because ginger campaigns at 154.

The Ghost has the better jab, footwork, he's better outside, he's better inside, he's faster, smarter, has more stamina, you name it, the Ghost does it better.

Only fools can sit there & say ginger is better. He's done absolutely nothing for that argument to hold any merit.

i like the ghosts chances compared to canelo. if and only if he can go inside anytime he wants but thats doubtful when it comes to moneymays defensive wizardry.

Nobody's saying that Alvarez is a better fighter than Guerrero, simply that he has the physical attributes and dimensions to trouble Floyd more.

Taking everything into account, Guerrero probably causes Floyd more trouble.

But how much trouble is that ?...

Hmm... I never thought this to be 50/50. Guerrero run out of gas in the Aydin fight. He was on the verge of getting KO'd in the last rounds. And this is just Aydin who can't land punches in the middle of the ring.

So why'd you quote me to say so?? But no, ginger's physical attributes are phantom attributes. He really isn't that big, he isn't physically fast & he tires quickly. He looks to have amazing power against no one worth typing about.

He's a hype job who got a gift title & had about 6 gift title defenses. If he gets a Floyd fight, it's a gift shot & he'll get embarrassed because you don't go from fighting Lopez to fighting Floyd. His phantom size is irrelevant, he has no defense & he's never faced a world class fighter. If you believe in theatrics then yes ginger is the truth, if you're a realist, you know ginger is as fake as Hollywood.

Canelo is less experienced, but bigger and stronger. I'd say Canelo, because he would make the fight physically tougher than Guerrero would.

Hard call for me , because it can be one of those times were either guy can surprise you. But Canelo hasn't been tested in the heart department or chi. Department like Guerrero in his last fight . Also the Philly shell not as effective against southpaws since you can't shoulder roll straight lefts , "guereros punch"
