Evander Holyfield - Oleg Maskaev on April?

According to russian media Evander Holyfield (44-10-2, 29 KOs) could face Russian Oleg Maskaev (37-7, 28 KOs) on April in Russia. Maskaev returned to the ring after a three-year absence on December 30 and knocked out contender Owen Beck in three rounds. This is the first step in Holyfield’s plans to retire as the oldest heavyweight champion.

holyfield you already were the oldest paper champ when you beat that big pile of garbage valuev but no one cared because he's a big pile of garbage. valuev's boxing is akin to a deaf person trying to speak. makes no sense and is painful to watch.

This fight actually makes sense. I hope Holy has enough left in the tank to beat old Maskaev.

          Ummmmmmm.....

Beck was a contender back in 06/07. He's been a gatekeeper since.
