Manny pulled out of his biggest payday twice. Hate Floyd or not nothing you say can change that fact. Nobody including Floyd has ever gotten a 40 mil garuntee in the history of boxing and who the hell is Manny to snub his nose at that offer. Now hes done and will never make anything close to that. And if Martinez wanted the fight bad enough he would of came down to 154 where the better fights were/are. Martinez fought the majority of his carreer at 154, when it was a weaker division, and was never considered elite. Nobody was calling Martinez a p4p fighter 4 years ago. The dude struggled with Kermit Cintron in his last fight there. Serg didnt make a name for himself until he moved up. Prior to Paul Williams the man was a ghost. You really expect Floyd to pass on Mosley and Cotto, established champions who have built themselves up over a decade, to fight Martinez? Floyd chased Mosley for a decade before he got that fight. Martinez' own people dont support him in America, or any other Argentine fighter for that matter. So why would Floyd pass on bigger fights to throw Martinez a bone? Because you want him to. Who the **** are you?

Sergio Martinez was ducked by Vernon Forrest for a long time and Forrest was the guy at 154 to beat and he avoided Martinez who was his mandatory until Vernon vacated his title. Struggled with Cintron? He KO'd him and got robbed. All the guys at 160 that Martinez fought after Pavlik/Williams have all since scored KO'd wins after being KO'd by Martinez. Floyd said he would entertain fighting Martinez but it would have to be at a 150 catch weight. Martinez fight for Mayweather probably won't happen because it is too much of a risk for Floyd at this point of his career.

Tell you, WHO at 147 would be a better/tougher opponent than Guerrero? Cause if you don't have a substantial list, you're point becomes pretty moot.

Guerrero beat hypejob Berto. That's all there is to it. He almost got dropped by Aydin who admitted he wasn't in good physical shape at the end of the fight. Just imagine if that was Floyd, instead of Aydin. (I suggest that you rewatch the Aydin fight and imagine that was Floyd Guerrero was fighting.)
