Comments Thread For: Juan Manuel Lopez Has Big Plans Ahead For 2013

Former two-division world champion Juan Manuel Lopez is putting in a lot of work as he prepares for his scheduled return on February 2 against Brazilian Santos Silva Aldimar in Bayamón. Juanma is hungry to prove that he isn't finished after getting knocked out in two of his last three fights by Mexico's Orlando Salido. The upcoming fight is set for 128-pounds. Afterwards Juanma will make a decision on whether or not he plans to go back to 126 or move up to 130.

Such a shame his fans kicked him to the curb after getting knocked out and fought like a warrior. I used to talk shit about him cause he ducked Cab but dude doesn't deserve the hate he's getting from his own people. When the going got tough he fought on and didn't ran like a bitch like Cotto usually does in his defeats.

three or four fights and then a title? so he's probably fighting for title until next year,i would think two fights is enough,he's an experienced fighter,

This is the one thing the UFC definitely have over boxing. One or two losses shouldn't be hailed as the end of a fighter.
