Could someone please talk to me about where Hopkins grew up, why he went to prison etc. I'm just trying to get as much info on his early days as I can, so anything you guys can come up with will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a VHS tape of Hopkins second pro fight, aired on USA TNF. Hops took the fight on LESS than a days notice..he didnt get to the city where the fight was held until 3pm on the day of..and he won, obviously

The FOX cast and Bernard Hopkins went back the Graterville (or some **** like that) Penitentiary. Bernard then found out the convicts painted a 20 feet mural of himself on the gym walls. Obviously, since Hop was a resident of Graterville, and he was getting choked up while reminiscing.
