Super welterweight prospect Jonathan "Mantequilla" Gonzalez (15-0-1) was heavily criticized for coming in a whopping 9 pounds overweight for his September fight against Serhiy Dzinziruk. Gonzalez looked sluggish in the fight which ended in a split draw. The Puerto Rican fighter is in much better shape for his upcoming battle against Derek Ennis (23-3-1). The fight takes place tomorrow and will be televised by ESPN to kick off the the 2013 season of their Friday Night Fight series.

Yeah but guy made weight properly and is focused, unlike Ennis who failed at the scales. But he needs to go through with the fight. If an out of shape one could beat Dzinzirik, imagine what a top shape version could do and he had what 1/3 the number of fights as Dzinzirik.
