This attitude about testing and the volunteer testing of both these guys are what Boxing should be about. This says a lot about the character of Mares and Donaire. No one can downplay this with rabid hate. Donaire is willing to fight Mares or Rigo next. Mares is onboard with the fight and the testing. But these fighters need to demand that their promoters work together. There should be a body that governs promoters and does not allow them to avoid working out fights.

Also Rigo said Arum promised him a fight against Donaire if he re-signed with Arum and he re-signed. So that either means A) Rigo will get that fight or B) Rigo was a fool and played like a violin. Which is it?

Donaire makes a request for VADA testing and Mares is good with it....ets keep this going.

if your referring to floyd and manny, it is a bit different, albeit manny should have never disagreed to testing, he did eventually agree though. but in the case of floyd/manny, floyd and his team accused manny and smeared his name as much as possible first. had he went about it the way nonito did, it would have been obvious that manny was using or scared, instead he gave manny a reason to not accept his terms.
that being said, its good for the sport, and hopefully this fight can be made.
