Carl Froch or Sergio Martinez? Who will be remembered as the greater fighter?

If both of these two retired today who would you remember as the greater boxer?

I've seen people call Froch a ATG and seen the majority of this forum agree that Martinez hasn't done enough to be called a ATG.

Personally, IMO neither are ATG's as i feel the tag 'ATG' get's thrown around too easily IMO and i wouldn't class either of them as All Time Greats.

What do you think? Would you class either as ATG's and who will you remember as the greater boxer out of the two?

By greater i just mean a combination of talent, achievements, resume.

I'm not sure people call Froch an atg, maybe some called him a legend in a very general sense for his willingness to take on whoever, wherever but I don't see him being labelled an atg too often at all.

Martinez has been top 5 on pfp lists for years now, Froch is only just entering the top 10.

Who you got at a 164lb catchweight?

Tricky question & quite frankly trickier to answer. Both are knocking on the door. The problem for Martinez is that his way to greatness won't happen, because of the business of the sport. While Froch at least had his chance against a fighter destined for greatness & got shutout the 1st 2/3rds of the fight. (I think Froch won the championship rounds vs Ward).

Martinez! He's a more exciting fighter! Froch is a boring, slow, bum-brawler! Martinez is flashy, has underrated fundamentals, exciting speed, and can get raw and ugly in the ring when he wants! I think Martinez fought the best opponents available at the time, but now he's trying to have only money fights because he earned it!

Sergio's the better fighter, but they are pretty close in quality of wins IMO. Sergio will be remembered as greater because of his talent and skills, I think.

Martinez hasnt faced true quality opposition... the best fighter he fought was Paul Williams... Kelly Pavlik was his other big win... Kelly has always been a bit overrated and he was going through all sorts of **** before that fight... Froch fought everyone in his division... neither to me are ATG... but maybe Froch can become that... both are hof bound... not atg

I think Martinez would UD him if that was to ever happen.
