If this fight is officially signed, then it should be the main event of the card instead of that ****ty sparring session between Floyd and Guerrero.

Agreed, but they are slightly the same. Trout is coming off the better name win, Guerrero was more dominating in his win. I thought Cotto-Trout was either 6-6 or 7-5 either way, by no means the "UD" that the judges saw. While Guerrero clearly beat Berto 8 rounds.

Canelo-Trout is a main event fight that deserves it's own headline. I think GBP will at least give it it's own arena, so that Canelo can generate his own gate revenue.

Canelo-Cotto would have greatly improved the PPV. Canelo-Trout will improve the PPV the same as Canelo vs Anybody would improve a PPV. No casual fan knows who Trout is. This is a good fight however, a match up that the hardcore fans know is legit. PPV/Popularity wise, Cotto was the way to go.
