Chavez holds records for most successful consecutive defenses of world titles (27), most title fights (37), most title-fight victories (31) and he is tied with Joe Louis for most title defenses won by knockout (21). Chávez also has the longest undefeated streak in boxing history, 13 years. His record was 89-0-1 going into his first loss to Frankie Randall and had an 87 fight win streak until his draw with Whitaker.

        Again

Read my whole post genius! I have no issues with him being pro Mexican, my issue is with forever posting how he's unbiased and informed, neither of which is TRUE

Are you his brother? His bytch? His alt?

That cinches it for me. JCC is GOAT.

            Anybody disagree?
You'll notice he said toughest, not best. Big difference. I know you're just taking the piss, but Dundee has gone on record saying that Robinson is the best.

What do you mean 'quit in his prime'?

Are you talking about the Maxim fight? 132-2, 31 years old, and fighting in 104 degree heat, which the ref had passed out in. He couldn't get off his stool for the 14th round. He subsequently retired for 3 years.

You could argue that Chavez quit against Randall to get the win, or got stopped against Oscar and Tszyu, while quitting against Oscar and Grover.

              Robinson was never stopped.

                Ray Robinson
                Ali
                Joe Louis

Should have all the votes from knowledgable fans.

I hear ya. But how many superlatives are out there? We have the best and we have the toughest. One would have thought that Dundee would have called LaMotta "the toughest". No sir. That honor goes to Chavez.

Now throw that in with the fact that the numbers say Chavez is the GOAT.

I know its hard to shelve a sacred cow from the golden days of boxing. Its a difficult thing to do because they eventually come to reside in pugilist heaven, both in memory and reputation. Nevertheless, they are all just mortal men. And Robinson was one of those.

                  Robinson is now #2.

My friend, the fact that you state "Ali is a bit overhyped Joe frazier was better than him" automatically disqualifies you from pitching a credible opinion that Robinson is the GOAT. Sugar Ray just fell off his cloud chair.
