You are not the brightest thing on earth or you would know that sustained punishment takes as much of a toll if not more than a KO. That is a known fact in boxing. That is why fighters die more often from sustained punishment than solid KO's. JMM has already had concern over his health and his brain and does not want to take more punishment that could compromise that. Not a difficult concept to grasp, really. It is not about how the fight ended. That does not illustrate how JMM was taking damage to his body - it is about what JMM does not want to put himself through.
