If JMM and Pac had 3 more fights like that just like in the old days, JMM could win some or all and still wind up with bad health because of all those hard punches. Winning isn't everything if a fighter winds up punch drunk, dead, or with failing kidneys. Thats not winning. JMM jumped a few levels on the ATG list and if he retires now, he still showed he was the best between he and Pac.

You need learn the definition of "Bred". They are not BRED to fight, Pitbulls are! Thats why many Boxers chose other sports and came back to Boxing to make money, thats why many have said that they would retire if not for the bills piling up. Having no other choice but to fight is not a condition of being Bred to fight. These are People, not Dogs.

It is a Figure of Speech to say it takes "a special breed" because people are not a breed, NO ONE is bred. The statement above indicates an ability, skill, or temperment for a sport, it has NOTHING to do with "Bred". People are not Bred to be Boxers! They happen onto the sport in different ways. Dogs are Bred, People are not. No one is Bred to fight. Any talk of Breeding or Bred is either about animals, a Figure of Speech or something out of a SCI-FI Movie. You must have been born and "bred" in the briar patch. That in case you haven't figured out is an idiom.

To be fair, it's pretty obvious he means it as a figure of speech, though. And, it does take a special breed or a certain kind of person to not only be a boxer, but to make it to such a high level. Would you disagree? Just saying.
