Im sure he cares about his fans, but I think he was implying that he only cares about his fans that "stroke" him constantly, basically his yes men. rather than the true boxing fans that watched him from the start and said "man this guy will be #1 p4p some day" and supported him throughout his career.

ofcourse he cares to a certain degree. he likes the fact that ppl admire his skills and follow his career, who wouldnt?

that said hes not gonna go out of his way to please the fans, but i dont think he should tbh. boxing fans dont deserve it, the second he hits adversity most ppl will turn on him and hes aware of that. its his career and his life anyways so he should look out for himself bcuz nobody else will.
