They're in talks and this could be the next big name super middle fight. Alot of you have written Kelly off, but after the Froch fight, Bute's value has gone down considerably too. Who ya got?
No surprise that I like Kelly in this fight. He is an American version of Froch in a whole lot of ways, and quite possibly has more power than Carl, even at SMW. He's fought 4 fights since Martinez, 2 chumps(Sigmon and Jaco) and two C+ level guys in Lopez and Rosinsky. Whatever you wanna say about their quality, he beat all of them and has looked pretty solid. Sigmon hadn't been KO'd before and Rosinksy's only other loss was a very highly disputed decision against Edwin Rodriguez
Bute got KO'd brutally by Froch and looked mediocre vs Grachev.
The intangibles are with Kelly. Kelly has only lost, in his entire career, to the two slickest boxers in the game above 147(Hopkins and Martinez) and you can make a case he will be a healthier, better fighter vs. Bute.
