Because initally "winning the bout" wasn't in your sentence. And by reading the sentence quite basically it would then contradict itself. Since you cant get knocked on your ass for being lazy and get away with it at the same time.

I loved your question about why Winky doesn't have KO power... and you thinking that not commiting to his punches isn't a viable answer because they didn't describe in the perfect context as to how he doesn't commit to his punches. You're truly brilliant
