According to promoter Eddie Hearn, he reached an agreement with Golden Boy Promotions to match Gavin Rees (37-1-1, 18KOs) against WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner in an HBO televised main event on February 16th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
