Hey Reyes, it looks like Donaire-Rigo may actually happen. Apparently Rigo's contract extension guaranteed a Donaire fight in his next 3 fights.

Mares should fight Santa Cruz, while Donaire fights Rigo. Winners fight each other. Wish that would happen. Hell, any combination of those four fighters.

I'd rather see Santa Cruz move up to 122 and fight someone like Darchinyan or Agbeko next.

I agree that both of those options would be more sense-making at this juncture. No argument there. If GBP makes Santa Cruz/Mares next though while Donaire fights Rigo I won't complain.

lol true...his 122 resume is pretty much non existent. i think he'd be too small for 126 too..why not just fight santa cruz if he can't get donaire and rigo since they're with top rank?

Than fight won't be in a few month since Rigondeaux have to fight in February and Donaire doesn't want to sign for the fight to happen...Donaire is gonna wait for Rigo to chose a diferent foe and then he chose somebody else...if he wanted that fight to bappen he will signed now so it will be time for the building....Mares in the other hand doesn't fight 122 pounds contenders..he only fight ppl from smaller division..he should at least fight one time before to leave for 126..but he can also go to 126 and fight pll from 122...that will be "funny"
