WBO Euro light heavyweight champion Jonathan Profichet, 14-8, will according to French sources defend the title against German-based Slovenian Denis Simcic, 28-2, on February 23 in Maribor, Slovenia. Profichet won the vacant title with a first round stoppage of Simcic in what, at least on paper, seemed like a big upset in a fight where Jonathan came in as a late sub.
