not only is donaire the deserving fighter for this award , he's also the only guy doing real OST , unlike floyd whose lone purpose to his OST is for show ..but we already know his testing is garbage

Whatever makes you feel like Manny should get some props for getting KO'd. I don't care about Floyd unlike many others. I think the line is funny that's all. He got KO'd in the round he was winning in. That's the truth too.

Funny how some Pinoy's don't consider Donaire a full blood Pinoy but when Manny got KO'd, all the Pinoy's were asking Donaire to represent for them.

i think danny gacia, ko morales and khan. this was his breakout year. marquez ko pacman but did little else. donaire fought 4 bums, who cares?

HONORABLE MENTIONS missing: Sergio Martinez (totally dominated Macklin and then Chavez Jr. for 11½ rounds). – Orlando Salido (The UPSET king!). – Canelo Alvarez (low-level competition in washed-up Mosley and “too small” Josesito Lopez, but Canelo’s skill and performance was awesome, I think).

Garcia fought a totally washed-up E. Morales twice (can't even count those), so his only fight was Khan. Can't do FOTY on one fight.
