Rigo or Mares. Hed has no way out of these two guys.

I can undserstand Nonito trying to be more active now and trying to get bigger fights since he's in his late 20's (29 I believe). Rigo is in his late 20's but he doesn't have the wear and tear of Donaire with just 11 pro fight. Abner is still very young at 23/24 and those are his 2 main opposition.

After the Poonsawat bout fell through, it's tough to come up with a good choice in the division for Rigondeaux to fight not named Donaire. Mijares is on a very short list of decent fighters at 122 the "Flash" hasn't beaten. Lately, everyone seems to retire after fighting Nonito. lol I want Cristian for Rigo. Guillermo needs preparation for his showdown with Donaire.

He needs to be calling loud and clear for Mares. Like Abner is doing with Golden Boy.

If that fight doesn't happen then it should be Rigondeaux next. Otherwise there will be a fan backlash.

Theses two words immediately popped into my head when reading that post. Donaire can afford to fight every 3-4 months since he's not sustaining accumulated punches to the head.

Donaire is 30; Rigondeaux is 32; Mares is 27.

He needs to stop the ducking and fight Guillermo Rigondeaux.

I want Donaire to fight Rigondeaux as much as anyone, but he hasn't been ducking Rigo. I do believe he'll take on Guillermo within the next couple of fights. When that happens, we may not be happy about the outcome. If Rigondeaux wins that match-up, however, there can be little doubt about his greatness.
