I always thought that he should of had lypo, lol. He always carried around an extra 6-8 lbs of fat which made him compete against guys used those same 6-8 lbs to pack muscle. Wonder if there is a rule against lypo?

If he lost all the excess weight he could have fought in a lower division. I'm guessing he felt comfortable at lightweight and didn't have to cut too much, which would also explain his good stamina. Cutting weight can really effect your stamina.

diet and genetics. the work was clearly put in, as the guy had a very high work rate and always showed good stamina.

No-one would accuse Joe Frazier of being lazy, but he always came to the ring a little soft looking.

Genetics in this case, and in Juan Diaz'
