So Pac is going to sit on the shelf for almost a year, wow, right call. He was doing fine but his chin was cracked. Sitting on the sidelines for a year certainly isn't going to fix anything. Pac is at that phase of his career where rest is probably the worst thing he can do. He should of been back by June latest.

So he fights in September a tune up and then May of 2014 has a real fight. His career is going in a downward spiral since late 2011.

Pac's done. Looking forward to his come back returns will be like Tito Trinidad. We all hope for the best but will most likely see the shell of his old self. Thanks for all the great memories Pac, but your time is up. lol. His good until date has expired...

How bout Broner against May JR for JR's tune up ?

Wouldn't you rather see JR tested against a up and coming undefeated KO artist, fast , quick , power , tough minded than a washed up old Pac man ?
          You silly silly goose you.....

Why would Floyd fight him? He doesn’t need a tune up. Let's keep 100, so remember it is unacceptable for Mayweather to fight smaller fighters. Remember when he destroyed the undefeated former WW title holder in Ricky the fatman Hatton at WW? Of course you don't.

Remember when he (like Pac has done twice since) demanded that JMM had to move up to WW to make a fight? No? Of course you wouldn't.

However since Bob Arum had Pac already lined up to fight Rios at WW... (LOL @ WW), Broner would be a much better/bigger tune up vs a style that Pac has never been able to look good against. Not to mention twinky eater Broner won't have too hard of a time making JWW. Easy fight for the man Pac. Great test for twinky.

Make it happen! If pac can't look good against twinky, time to retire.

            What I was thinking.

Yeah, he got KO'd, but he'll get rusty if he waits that long.

It's not that bad a return date if he wants a final fight or two to cash in- Rios, Bradley or Khan will make him a lot of money and they're all winnable after 9 months out.

It pretty much rules out another JMM fight as he's unlikely to fight him on his return meaning a 5th fight won't be until early 2014, by which time JMM will surely have retired.

But that's good as I would rather see Pac fight one of the above if he is going to continue.

And for a fighter like pacman Pacquaio to lose a step could be the difference from him weaving in and out, to possibly get knocked the Fuc out. Maybe the Marquez fight is the most aggressive Pacman has been in a while. And possibly the knocked down of Marquez was the worse thing that happen to Pac. Because after the knocked down PAc seemed to get overly aggressive and almost ******ly aggressive at times, Ala Ricky the hit-man Hatton.
Pac stunk that night. He didn't want to hurt his bud so he played hand slap all night. He knew Mosley was shot and fought like it. He was very good against Bradley; best he's just boxed since probably the Barrera rematch. But for all out Pac, Margarito was it. He had to go beast mode to keep a much bigger man off. The fight was target practice, but he had to be on point all night because Marg was always a threat to hurt him (and did in the fifth to the body badly).

It is okay, but let´s hope it isn´t against Márquez because there is so many right hands you can take from a master boxer with 40ko and Pac took them all. It would be suicide.

All he would've had to of done is take his time, place his punches accordingly, maybe even played the role of counter-puncher for a couple rounds. Marquez's nose would have eventually gotten to him shot after shot and the fight woulda been called off on doctor's orders no doubt. The fight was Pac's to lose and he did so in dramatic fashion. Manny just has too much ***** going on in his life. He only trained for 2.5 months compared to JMM's 4.5. Where's his dedication, I hate agreeing with fmj but he said it right, you have to dedicate your life, everything to your craft, like Marquez does. If a 5th fight does get made the only way Pac wins is if he quits everything else except boxing until he officially does retire. If he were to drop everything, hit the gym and rededicate himself to the craft that made him rich/famous then there is no doubt he could do to JMM what JMM did to him in 6. He'll never do that and a tune-up for Pac should be shameful for him at this point in his career. He shouldn't need a stepping stone. If he can't hang with the top tier elites then he needs to retire plain and simple. All he is doing is feeding the haters desire's to watch him fall by not dedicating himself to boxing. The Pacquiao who ko'd hatton and beat down cotto wouldn't have carelessly gotten caught with that shot. Sad, just sad...
Pacquiao was doing good at that point in the fight but I do t know how u can say he was whuppin Marquez when he got put down in the 3rd. He didn't take knee, he got put flat on his back. Seems like pac fans wants to ignore this fact. U try to act like PAC was just being ****** to get knocked out. If this is true then PAC is a ****** fighter overall. He should have known after the first fight that just because u knock Marquez down, that does not mean u can take him out. He put him down 3 times in the first. Put him down 1 time in the second and could never knock him out. What made him think in this fight that it was any different? His boxing iq was never that high.
