Boxing returning to NBC should have been a happy day for the sport. Now we get another black eye on national television.Comment

That's why it keeps happening. Because they don't care about a fighters life, future, dreams and aspirations nor do they care about keeping boxing alive. They give the decision to the guy that can make them more money in the short term, despite ruining the sport forever in the long term.Comment

Because Promoters/Advisors pay commisions millions of dollars?
And if a Judge wants to get constant fights with certain promoters they will cater them, because they make $100 a night or something like if they doing a local card, so if they wanna keep on doing big fights they gotta "lean"
the point I was making was it's good for the day but horrible for business over allComment

lets hope those same people were tweeting with the same outrage at the REAL robberies this year; because a W by Adamek is not nearly as bad as those other ones.....not even close. This was a close fight, it could of gone either way, period. Lets be real here, most people who are so dead-set on this being some huuugee robbery is because they expected USS to get KO'd, and the fact that he boxed well and lasted all 12 is blinding people. And I say that because all of those people scored it 118-110 for Steve. You dont win by 8 rounds without dominating a fight, and if you believe Steve dominated this fight, you're just as delusional as the judge who scored it 116-112 for Adamek...... This fight was a toss up and almost every round could of went either way, and a draw would of been the best outcome. IMO.Last edited by King_; 12-22-2012, 07:40 PM.Comment

Poor USS. His time is running out and now he's getting screwed. How many more gifts will Adamek get? I felt he lost to Chambers too. I like Adamek but these decisions are making me dislike him a lot.

I too thought Adamek lost to Chambers (who pretty much fought 1 handed.) But that one was a little closer than today.Comment
