When Pacquiao was the #1 P4P, HE was too small for 154lbs, wasn't he?

I didn't think the Marquez/Mayweather fight made much sense other than a workout, and don't laud it.

Now I've answered that, answer why Cotto at 154bls didn't make sense, especially seeing as the previous result had NOTHING to do with weight. It made so little sense that ANOTHER catchweight was demanded by the people offering the fight. Pac gets a pass for ducking a fight he could easily have won, seeing as weight had nothing to do with it, right? Is it not cherry picking because he got knocked out by an older, smaller opponent?

Becuase in boxing we have catch weights..

          Floyd is 147
          Martinez is 160

So they should fight at 154

Boxing is more than May and Pac. Hate to break it to the OP, but Mayweather's legacy is already set. His wins over Chico, Hernandez, Chavez, Castillo (1st fight coulda went either way), Oscar, Gatti, and the lists goes on.... pretty much has him set no matter how he finishes up his career. Its about the $$$, or Sergio would be calling out super mids, like Ward, Froch, Kessler; instead of Mayweather and Pac. If these guys really did follow boxing instead of certain fighters, they would know that Mayweather wasn't getting the big $$ until he made everybody hate him. BTW Sergio takes him @ 160, too much size, and speed naturally at 160

160 isnt a catchweight fight, it would be floyds first non cherrypick fight in years.

154 isn't a catchweight either since Floyd doesn't do catchweights the fight doesn't make sense

                      he actually does.

he cheated in the scales as well.
