In an unprecedented showing, champions from the famed ALA Gym have emerged as Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation champions.

Pastor Guanzon of Bacolod won the vacant OPBF super flyweight title with a close but hard fought unanimous decision over Taiki Eto of Japan at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

Fuentes resume with over all fights of 43 (35-6-2) is good enough for just 26 years old boxer. Just couldn’t figure out why he’s fighting just who’s who mostly in the backyards. He needs to fight the top 5 of the division to be recognized as world top contender. And yeah, who cares for OPBF???
