Look at Vitali Klitschko, thats him taking shots from HEAVYWEIGHTS almost 2x size of Pac........

    Thats a real Chin.

Theres very few boxers that have a SOLID ATG Chin, and Pac is nowhere near that level.

and I didnt realize Margarito was a 1 punch knock out artist, I mustve imagined he was a pressure fighter who owned you over time then finished you.

You cant have ATG Chin when you get dropped or KO'd in your career.

ATG stands for All time Great

and JMM chin is even worse than Pacmans
Holyfield has been down multiple times and is regarded as having one of the best chins in boxing history. Punch resistance isn't just about staying on your feet, it's about surviving the battle. Anyone can get knocked down, be it a flash knockdown or a balance issue. That doesn't classify punch resistance. I don't agree with your definition of 'ATG Chin' plenty of fighters who have great chins have hit the canvas, De La Hoya, Mosley, Margarito, LaMotta, Robinson. I could go on all day.

Again, having a great chin is not just about not getting knocked down, it's about being able to take the punishment over the full 12 rounds. Holyfield has been hurt and down but he has been in with some of the hardest punchers in history, and none of them could put him down for good.

Plenty of guys with granite chins have been hurt and points in their career, it's impossible not to.

Great chin. No question. Man's feet aren't even on the ground and he eats it with barely a stumble. Pac relied on his chin for years.

Ridiculous to think his chin was anything other than great.

Wow, I forgot about that hard flush right and heavy left full bodyweight to the chin combo Marquez landed on Pacman.

WTF happened? all of a sudden JMM drops Pacman with a right hand in the third round a punch that Pac has taken with ease from JMM numerous times and never really got hurt from.

Do you think its true that the chin breaks down like someone said you can only chip away at stone for so long before it cracks in half.

It happens, and that was a beautiful shot. Its not even about taking shots for years, at a certain point, when you've been fighting enough years, you can't take punches like you used to. And of course it doesn't help when you take the shots Pac has.

Yeah now that I think about it, Pacman does have a pretty good chin or used to, we have to remember his early years when he was KO'd he had ZERO defense I saw a highlight of him when he was 18 and he was just trading blows with an opponent and that guy was hitting him over and over on the chin while Pac was going at his body lol.

Some of the guys we think have great chins in boxing right now might not really have that great of a chin because it has never really been tested with multiple combos, many slick boxers get credited wtih having iron chins, but how would we know?

Pacman on the other hand has horrible defense and was eating punches ever since he started boxing so of course you will be knocked down or knocked out with that style.

I still think Zab's chin is underrated, he has good recover, he just lacks the heart and mental fortitude in fights. Zab could have been something so special too explosive fighter and was exciting to watch for 4 rounds but just lost focus in the mid to late rounds.

When Zab gets hit right on the button he acts like Terry Norris.
