That Devon Alexander vs Andreas Kotelnik was a perfect example of complete bias, but meh it's their money they can cheerlead for any fighter they want.

Lederman-likes guys who press the action
Merchant- like guys to go to war
      Lampley- likes HBO guys
      Foreman- likes punchers
Steward (RIP)- was a front runner
Good post. I would say, though, that I don't think that constitutes bias; to me, anyway, bias is ignoring things which are happening and sticking to preconceived notions. For an example, that would be Jim Lampley in any Marco Antonio Barrera fight, especially against Marquez.

Beyond that they all have their preferences, but I don't think it's anything sinister or unprofessional.

They tend to like slicker guys although they are quicker to abandon ship than the other guys especially Roy, the rest of them will go down with the ship except Steward.

Showtime has better commentators. Except I really like Roy Jones commentating, but the others are so biased.

Larry doesnt necessarily like blood and guts boxers since he loved Whitaker and K bros but he didnt like Hagler and Erik Morales.

              HBO is good.
I'm an American and much rather listen to British broadcast. There's not much bias involved when there's no brit fighting

Once you know what they like its easy to know what to expect and filter out all of their biases.

If Foreman was still announcing, round 12 of Wladimir-Haye would have went something like this:

Larry: "Haye promised us fireworks and his fire dont work"

Foreman: "Wladimir better not get careless because Haye is still dangerous"

Larry: "George, Haye hasn't shown us any indication that he is willing to take the risk to land those big shots"

Foreman: "Oooh I dont know larry, make no mistake, he is waiting for wladimir to take just one break and then he will be very sorry"

Lampley: "Wladimir has landed 33 out of 123 power shots according to compubox compared to 22 out of 144 for David Haye. We have to assume that Wladimir is ahead on the judges blah blah blah blah"
