No disrespect, I just want to know who Velez beat for this "Silver belt"? Don't say Salvador Sanchez 2 or Barranza, those wins were not championship quality. These WBC belts are worthless, don't mean anything, and should be treated like cracker jack prizes. Velez should shelve that thing until after he fights PDL. They make fighters look desperate for recognition that they haven't earned yet. I'm not saying anything bad about Velez, he is a talent on the rise, I'm saying the WBC needs to quit handing out all these worthless titles.
