Rios has become a hbo staple, why would they for a second allow gbp to promote his fight and against matthysse of all fighters.

Gbp has a ton of guys who can fight matthysse and they won't even let there own guys fight him. Why should top rank?

If Donaire really wanted this fight, it would happen. He can voice his demand to Top Rank, but in all the interviews I've read/watched with Donaire speaking on this, he's never once spoken about the difficulty in making this fight because of Bob Arum. It's the usually "I'll fight anybody, anytime" B.S.

Donaire did bring it up a little after the Arce fight. But he needs to be way more vocal about it and mention it more often than he does.
