Pascal, the only fighter to defeat LHW champion Dawson at LHW is rated as the 10th best boxer in the LHW division by Ring Magazine.

Standards are badly dropping at Ring Magazine, the fact that the likes of Cleverly, Braehmer and Bellew are above is an absolute joke.

Boxrec rate Pascal a little higher at 6, but for some bizarre reason have placed Lucian Bute at number 3 having only fought Denis Grachev at the weight.

Both organisations appear to be onto a fast path of failure.

Boxrec rankings are based on a point system from W, L and KO's.

On the other hand, Ring Magazine and their owner GBP manipulates the ratings. With recent news of them wanting to do business in the UK it makes sense for them to rank those fighters higher than they deserve.
