It's coming up on thirty three years that boxers Ronnie Shields, Marvis Frazier (thanks to a nightmare his dad, Joe, had), Tony Tucker, Bobby Czyz and Ernie Chavez's lives were saved by fate...engineer Ryszard Chmielewski was also saved that day only to die seven years later in a death straight out of the movie "Final Destination"...CRAZY STUFF!!!!

In 1980 a USA team of amateur boxers went down in a plane crash in Poland on their way to an amateur boxing meet...everyone on board thejet passed away including serious olympic hopefuls like Lemuel Steeples of St. Louis (he defeated future champ Milton McCrory three times in the amateurs)...the boxers I mentioned all were supposed to be on that flight but canceled for different reasons...Joe Frazier had a dream that his family was engulfed in flames and he told marvis not to go...there was also an engineer who canceled at the last minute and took a later flight...but a few months later he passed away anyway....IN A PLANE CRASH!!
