Ariza is a douchebag, and I'm not convinced either Pac or Marquez is clean, but if Pac didn't use a modern strength and conditioning program, then Ariza is correct. Sports science has improved massively, and some sports have been slow to get on board, especially boxing. You look at the way any pro athlete trains, and it's totally different than it was twenty years ago. NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL or whatever. The best athletes are training harder than everyone else and using the most modern and researched techniques.

Pac may not have won, but it would have given him a better chance. In my opinion, Pac was getting tired when he went for the kill. He was recoiling his punches slower and was holding his hands lower. He went in for the kill with his left hand low, throwing a lazy jab. In any sport, you make mistakes when you're tired. So it was lights out and goodnight for Pac. He's not a particularly smart fighter. He's always won on his athleticism, but he's getting older and conditioning becomes more and more important.
