The point isn't that it will or should've happened, but how much hype Pac would get instead of people calling it luck.

Exactly. And absolutely no one would be talking luck because of Pac's reputation. It must really be hard for some Pac fans to accept to insist it was a lucky punch. Even Pac himself said it at one point. I don't know if he's still saying it now.

That punch was not luck Marquez was landing that right hand through out the fight. Once he knocked Pac down in the 3rd round. He had confidence throwing that right hand knowing he can hurt Manny which he did.

Of course. JMM landed it throughout all four fights. And Pac never learned to stop doing that lazy jab, jab, big lunging left. JMM knew it all along which is why he was so confident he could knock Pac out. And he did.

the bandwagon goes bigger again.... marquez fans would say he's past it. floyd fans would say "finally at the age of 40, he was able to knock that guy".. heredia is doing nothing wrong and JMM is a super clean athlete.. we wouldn't even hear a lucky word..

Haha, I wasn't thinking about this but you're right. Nobody was so critical of Heredia after fight three.
